History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Roger was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To pay off his debts.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Roland was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Roland has worked very hard to control his curse. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
