History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He tends to his Masseuse job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bather work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bather work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Cory's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His first spouse was a Baker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and wants to raise his children well
