Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Raymond lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Carter.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Spice Merchant. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. A gifted student he started as a Carter, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Born to a Priest, his father struggled to pay the bills. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
