Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a green costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His hair is short and silver. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ernest does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When Ernest reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This slender man stands about 6'0". He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Sailor arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting illithids, the young Anselm began to lead the lost caravan. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he is content

History: Ernest was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Detective.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a sellsword again
