History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shipwright arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He carries with him a set of spears, each one with a ruby on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His auburn hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Patrick is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Patrick was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his rapier, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. He has dyed his greying blonde hair a little too much giving a sharp blonde color. His eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Everard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When Everard reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
