Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This northern man is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Gifted from a young age, Bertram studied abroad. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Dilettante for the past few years.

Description: He wears white robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a sai, but if one is not available he will default to his falchion. He is physically well-built. His golden hair is matted, messy, and big. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Knight for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: A plain young-adult man, he is dressed in a clean brown cloak covering his clean studded leather. He keeps his long red hair kept up in a rat tail. His skin is flawless and his amber eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Warrior school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Courier. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end.
