The war was a terrible time for him, and Manfred does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of a Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Manfred was taken on many hunting expeditions. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Hubert hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He worked as a nervous Engraver and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.
