History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Beggar they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Body Guard, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born in the west to a Cartwright, Percival learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cartwright for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Gifted from a young age, Patrick studied abroad. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
