History: William was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roland grew up listening to his father's many stories. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Farmer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a Farmer soon after.

Personality: Justin is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Justin is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born into a rich family. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.
