History: William hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mortician they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Blacksmith, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to end his boredom

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and further expansion of business

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and sabotage a competitor
