Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. The war was a terrible time for him, and Jocelyn does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and balancing his hectic life and new merchant responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He takes great joy in being the best Miner in town.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A gifted student he started as a Beggar, but he got bored and became a Miner. He tends to his Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now owns his own business.
