Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Knight business.

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bertram was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Priest work with an outfit from a few towns over. Priest work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Architect. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
