History: Gifted from a young age, Gerard studied abroad. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
