History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rolf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rolf was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This light-skinned male prefers to wear flannel. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy chestnut hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Charles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is wearing a long, white cloak. His black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His brown unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To be a Mercenary again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'2" when asserting himself. Sporting a white mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC.
