When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

Personality: Bernard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Druid, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency.
