Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a brown vest and prefers black and tan shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, and is pretty ugly. His auburn hair is thinning but still full. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shane does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He became a Cook soon after.
