History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Patrick was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Patrick's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Charles was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.
