When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Cory was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He got into the Ploughman business at a young age. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has worked as a Ploughman like his mother before him.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Interpreter business.

History: Kyle was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Carpenter, but he got bored and became a Interpreter. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Interpreter responsibilities is difficult; and expand his business
