History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He married young, but lost his spouse to brigands. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Don was born with his father's beautiful face. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Don never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
