History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he has decided he is irredeemable
