History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Blacksmith and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
