Description: This man stands a little under 6'6" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He wears a feathered hat to cover his moderate length brown hair. His eyes are amber and catlike.
Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Richard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: To unite with his brother.

Arnold Pickering, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep red leather and dull grey iron scale mail. His long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Arnold is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Gifted from a young age, Arnold studied abroad. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
Ideals: Disciplined, Justice, Gifted. Flaws: Ugly. Bonds: Family. Occupation: Masseuse
Voice: Sighs a lot, exhausted

Godfrey Chester, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he dresses well, wearing grey shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His silver hair is lengthy. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his broad grey hat.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Godfrey was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
