However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Blacksmith arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
