Hugh Oakes, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He keeps his white hair in a pixie cut. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Through the years after Hugh was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Hugh's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: This malnourished man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has golden hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Human Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personal [hide]
Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many white ritualistic tattoos. He wears a simple brown robe with white stripes complete with hood. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. He now owns his own business.
