Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Anselm liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Human compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
