Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to share knowledge with the world

History: Bertram was born with his father's beautiful face. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He's also a talented Shepherd, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Doctor. He became a Doctor soon after.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and sabotage a competitor
