History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He got into the Butcher business at a young age. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Gerard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
