Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Born in the north to a Barkeep, Gerard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He found a children's book about a Human Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
