History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Tim lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He found a children's book about a Human Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he feels kind of lost in life
