Ralf Astley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft tan waves gently in the breeze. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his greataxe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. He is baby faced.
Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Ralf was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Ralf's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.
Flaws: Ugly, Antagonistic. Bonds: Rich, Enemies, Slave. Occupation: Slave Trader
Voice: Scratchy, weak

Patrick Oakley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This light-skinned male wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a red coat. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His blonde hair is matted, messy, and big. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Patrick was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and a deep hatred of dire rats
