History: The child of a Bricklayer, who enjoyed hunting, Gerald was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, William never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He takes great joy in being the best Layabout in town.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
