Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Theobald's homeland. Theobald decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a tan cloak and cross-gartered green stockings and is in decent physical shape. His head has been shaved. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Rolf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he has money and likes to spend it
