History: Geoffrey was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Geoffrey abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born into a rich family. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Description: This man prefers to wear flannel. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized topaz on his right hand. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Henry hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He dresses well, wearing blue shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His silver hair is braided into rings. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a Stylist, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Soapmaker for hire.

Motivation: To be a Stylist again.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a blue suit, brown shirt, and tan tie, and is pretty ugly. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker blue hat.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He's also a talented Apothecary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.
