History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Nicholas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born in the south. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Patrick and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Lance wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Lance was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
