History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He's also a talented Apothecary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Peter was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Carter, but he got bored and became a Shepherd. He tends to his Shepherd job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He is a Seamstress first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Hugh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Description: With brown face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His red hair is singed and shortened. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). In the meantime he has taken over work as a Roofer and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and to reunite with his old friends
