History: Chad was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Chad was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a Cartwright soon after.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Balimaar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
