History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His childhood dream was to be a Merchant, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature morningstar.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Anselm alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
