History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Gerard's homeland. Gerard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has never given up on his music dream.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born in the north to a Spice Merchant, Alex learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a Spice Merchant soon after.

Motivation: To be a Sculptor again; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
