History: Bernard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Norman fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Adventurer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He worked as a nervous Adventurer and found it very stressful. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.
