Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Heward was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Heward's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
