History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
