History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is content; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Crown-heir responsibilities is difficult; and revenge

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
