Adam Astley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears dull black sweaters, loose white pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed hammer, just in case. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has no hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Adam was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to reunite with his absent mother
Flaws: Ugly, Insane, Antagonistic. Bonds: Family, Mentor. Occupation: Painter
Voice: Tuts and clicks tongue

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His blonde hair is still thick. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
