History: Roland lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He got into the Assassin business at a young age. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Norman is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Norman was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Actor for hire.

He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has never given up on his writing dream.
