Personality: Bertram is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born in a small forest village. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Kody was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Barber, but he got bored and became a Guard. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Expand his business.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Theodoric was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and a rival would like him out of the picture
