A freak accident while working with his Bookbinder mother left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
