Description: A man of a pale complexion, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His white hair is thinning but still full. His half smiles and violet eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Bertram's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Bertram's homeland. Bertram decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears black painted combat armor at almost all times. His golden hair is still thick. His hazel eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Theobald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a white costume with the symbols of the sun god on his torso. He has wavy chestnut hair. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born in a small forest village. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: This man stands a little under 5'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears silk and lounges about seductively. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are green.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Guard but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Spy mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
