History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Chad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has a very tight haircut. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Adelard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Description: This man tends to wear a large black jacket. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His red hair is thinning but still full. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Gifted from a young age, Robert studied abroad. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Tailor.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and to be a sculptor again

Description: He stands about 5'3" and wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair is black and curly. This green eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is obsessed with his god.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he usually wears his brown robe and has his nunchaku always slung over his shoulder. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is wracked by social anxiety
