Cory Hackney, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: He is dressed in a clean black cloak covering his clean studded leather. He carries with him a set of quarterstaffs, each one with a emerald on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His hair is cut close to his head. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson black hat.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Charles Soames, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his youth he was a Engraver, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Godfrey Staurheim, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. His chestnut hair is knotted and matted. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Godfrey is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He worked as a nervous Bounty Hunter and found it very stressful. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
