History: Dean lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Herbalist profession.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gilbert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gilbert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Gomory is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
